Frequently Asked Questions

Every question you have about Hair Transplantation has been answered by our expert team.

Will My Hair Be the Same as the First Day?

They never occur as often as before the hair falls out. Because all the hair taken through hair transplantation methods is used to cover a much larger gap. As the area increases, the density of hair per cm2 decreases. When the open area is small, it displays more frequently, and when it is large, it displays less frequently.

Is It Harmful to Health?

Hair transplantation has no side effects or complications that may cause trouble for the person in the future.

How long does the transplanted hair last?

Since the transplanted hair is taken from the genetically non-shedding hair between the two ears, it will remain in the same way in its new place, that is, FOR LIFE.

Does Transplanted Hair Require Special Care or Periodic Checking?

No. Since the transplanted hair is your own hair, IT DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL CARE. You can continue cutting, styling, dyeing, perming and cleaning your hair in the same way as you have done until today.

Do Transplanted Hair Grow?

3 months after transplantation, it starts to grow like a beard, and it gains character and looks like your other hair.

Is Transplanted Hair Natural? Is it obvious that it is October?

With the development of transplantation techniques, transplanted hair now looks very natural. The dark years of hair transplantation, when the hair transplanted with follicular unit transplantation did not look natural enough, are now behind us.

Does Transplanted Hair Require Continuous Care?

Washing begins on the 2nd day following transplantation. A special washing is done for 15 days. Then the person moves to the desired washing method. There is no need for constant care after hair transplantation.

Is There Swelling and Bruising After the Procedure?

Due to the medications applied to the scalp, some patients may experience swelling for a few days after the procedure. However, with a few simple precautions and treatments, this swelling can be prevented to a large extent.

Can I Exercise After October?

Walking can be started within a few days. However, sports that may damage the scalp (such as football, fitness) should be avoided for 1-1.5 months.

How Long After Hair Transplantation Can I Go Swimming? When can I dye my hair?

It is not recommended to go to the sea, pool, Turkish bath or sauna for 1.5 months. Hair dye should not be used for 4-5 months.

Is Hair Transplantation Done by Making the Patient Passionate?

No. General anesthesia is not preferred in hair transplantation. The areas where the operation will be performed on the scalp are numbed for a while with local anesthetic drugs, which many people have encountered at least once before (usually during dental operations).

Is Pain Felt During the Procedure?

A slight burning sensation is felt during local anesthesia. Afterwards, the patient does not feel any pain or pain during the operation.

Is there a guarantee that the transplanted hair will grow?

After a successful operation performed by an experienced team, all of the transplanted hair begins to grow. Growing the transplanted hair without loss has long ceased to be a problem for experienced hair transplantation teams.

What is the Difference Between Hair Density and Fullness?

“Density” is the number of hairs per unit area; e.g. The average hair density of a man between the ages of 30 and 50 is 250-300 per square centimeter. “Fullness” is an objective measure used to describe the appearance of a person’s hair, regardless of hair density. So much so that the hair of someone with less hair density may appear fuller than someone with denser hair. Although hair density is the most important factor determining fullness. Other factors such as hair color, hair structure and thickness are also very important.

How Frequently Does Hair Loss Occur?

Hair loss is a problem that can be seen in both men and women; but it is more noticeable in men. 25% of 25-year-old men have started to lose some hair. This rate increases to 50% among 50-year-old men.

Does Stress Cause Hair Loss?

Stress can cause widespread hair loss in some cases. This type of hair loss, also called telogen effluvium, is different from androgenetic alopecia. If the cause of stress is eliminated, the hair lost for this reason will grow back in about a year.

Is Local Anesthesia a Risky Procedure?

Local anesthesia is an extremely risk-free and safe procedure. Except for some rare side effects, the danger of local anesthesia is almost non-existent when applied correctly.

Will there be scars on the nape of the neck and in the transplanted area?

Since the entire procedure is carried out with fine micro-level work and our grooving technique does not cause tissue damage, there are no traces left in the hundreds of hair transplantation samples performed in our clinic.

Should Laser Be Used in Hair Transplantation?

Laser can be used in hair transplantation. But it does not contribute much to the hair transplantation process and its results. We can only use the laser machine, which is cumbersome to use, to open the channels where we can leave the roots, and in our research, the channels that are not opened with the laser show healing in a shorter time (5-7 days).
